New Year Resolutions VS New Year Goals!

New Year Resolutions VS New Year Goals, Who's The Clear Winner Here?

As we welcome in the new year, many of us take the time to reflect on the past and set goals for the future. This often includes making a list of new year resolutions - things we want to change or improve upon in the coming year. But while resolutions can be well-intentioned, they often fall by the wayside as the year goes on. So, what's the alternative? A better, stronger, more committed approach-New Year goals.

Goals are different from resolutions in that they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (also known as SMART goals). This means that they are clearly defined and have a clear plan of action to achieve them. In contrast, resolutions are often vague and lack a clear action plan.

So, why are new year goals more effective than new year resolutions? For one, they provide more motivation and accountability. When you have a specific goal in mind, you are more likely to stay motivated and on track to achieve it. Additionally, setting a deadline for yourself helps to create a sense of urgency, ensuring that you don't put off working towards your goal.
